There is only one Holy Lord Who is God Almighty

Shall we start our topic on the one True God by quoting Rev. 15:3,4, “…Great and marvelous are thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true are thy ways, thou King of saints. Who shall not fear thee, O Lord, and glorify thy name? for thou only art holy…” There is only one holy Lord who is God Almighty and King of saints and who has one glorious name known to his saints.

The arguments against the doctrine of the One True God of the Bible are invariably the result of unbelief in the Biblical account and revelation. For the most part, they are philosophical in origin. How do you know that? Even most popular religious terms are not found in the Holy Bible – they are man-made in nature – they are unbiblical. The holy prophets and apostles didn’t know about them.

One God and Savior Jesus Christ

God is one, not Three in any Form

The one true God is not three or trinity in any Form. The term “Trinity” is one of the popular religious stuff heard all over the world but it is not found in the Bible. Not only the word ‘Trinity’ but also so many related terms to it are not known for the Holy Book, the Bible.

They are alien to the Old Testament and the New Testament. Trinity is the result of church councils of the third or later centuries. You may argue saying no, no, ‘the word Trinity came into use in the second century. Well, still it’s too far to be a true Biblical term from the Bible writes theology. It is not known for Apostle Peter or Paul or the rest of the disciples of Jesus and all fellow Christian of the early church. Please read what they taught in Galatians 1:6-9. The doctrine of the Trinity is drawn wholly from pagan philosophy. It has nothing to do with biblical revelation.

Unbiblical Terms against the only One True God

About the one true God, it is explicitly written in the Old Testament as well as the New more than 30 times about one God but not even one verse can be found in the Bible about three persons (N.B. explicitly nothing written about Trinity in the Bible). If you admitted it or not in a simple sentence let me tell you that ‘the word Trinity is not found in the Bible. Still, you may want to argue more but see the next point.

It is said:- “The term “Trinity” is not a Biblical term, and we are not using Biblical language when we define what is expressed by it as the doctrine that there is one only and true God, but in the unity of the Godhead there are three coeternal and coequal Persons, the same in substance but distinct in subsistence” (

  • They are saying, “God is the Trinity” – but it is not found in the Bible.
  • People talk about “The three Persons of the Godhead” – but it is unbiblical
  • They think there are “Three distinct beings” – but have no book, chapter and verse in the Bible for it.
  • Some call the creator “Triune God” – sorry, it is not written.
  • We hear about “Three-in-One” – but we couldn’t find it in the word of God (Galatians 1:6-9)
  • Some say, God has “Three names”- yet God has only one Name (Zechariah 14:9)
  • Some people teach about “The names of God” – but it is human, not divine
  • Others also imagine “there are Three or definite and identifiable Persons” in the Godhead–but it is wrong.
  • Some folks may think “Jesus is the Second Person of the Trinity” – But He said “I am the first…”(REv. 22:13)
  • They also say, “Holy Spirit is the third Person of the Trinity – Who gave them the authority to rank God?
  • The phrase “God the Son” is also common – Instead, the Bible says ‘the son of God’
  • Have you heard people talking about “God the Holy Spirit”? – Instead, the Bible says ‘The Spirit of God’ you also say the same.

Why it is difficult to understand or explain the doctrine of Trinity

Maybe that is true because it is created in the human mind, so very tough to grasp it. On the contrary, the God of the Bible says in Isa. 43:10-13 that we have to know He before we believe in him.
And now compare and contrast these ideas, then choose which one you should believe in.
Have you ever heard the expressing or teaching which says ‘The unity of the Godhead’? But this is not biblical too!
How the eternal One God could be united. If it were so when was their unification took place?

The Holy Bible clearly declares that God is one. Only one and alone and no one beside him, with him, above him and before him… (Isaiah 43:1-12). God is one means God is not more than one. He is not two or three… He is not four or five or more; God is not many or plural in nature. God is not one in two, or God is not one-in-three. God is not a combination of single and plural identities – God is just one only. The Teaching of Moses the servant of God in Deut. 6:4-5 is the detail explanation of Exodus 20:1-6 which was later in the New Testament quoted by Our Blessed Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

God’s Character doesn’t Allow to Accommodate other beings

One of His characters is that He is just one. So, there is no room for any other God or god (Deuteronomy 6:4-9; Mark 12:28; Jude 1:4; 1Tim. 6:14-15). He is the “I AM” so there is no room for the “we are”.

The God of the Bible is eternal (Deuteronomy 33:27; Jeremiah 10:10; Psalm 90:2; 1John 5:20) and unchanging or immutable (Psalm 102:25-27; Hebrews 1:10-12; Heb. 13:8; 1Timothy 6:16) then why people think that in the New Testament something which was not known in the Old Testament revealed – Trinity. if it is about Jesus, He is the same yesterday, in the Old Testament, and today, in the New Testament and forever (Hebrews 13:8). Before He came in the flesh, he was in the world he is the creator o it (John 1:1-10). Our God is infinite (1 Kings 8:22-27; Jeremiah 23:24; Psalm 102:25-27). If it about Jesus, He already told us that he is the infinite one (See Revelation 22:13; John 8:58). He is the is the self-sufficient and self-existent God (Exodus 3:13-14; Psalm 50:10-12; Colossians 1:16). He is omnipresent (present everywhere) God (Psalm 139:7-12;) This is Jesus (Matthew 18:20; Matthew 28:20).

Lord Jesus is omnipotent (all-powerful) John 14:14; Luke 18:27; Revelation 19:6) This is Jesus of the Bible (1Tim. 6:14,15.) Our God is omniscient (all-knowing) (Psalm 139:2-6; Isaiah 40:13-14). This is Jesus (John 21:17) In Jesus hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge (Col 2:3). He is only potentate and sovereign God (2 Samuel 7:22; Isaiah 46:9-11; Timothy 6:15). He is the only holy God (Leviticus 19:2; 1 Peter 1:15; Rev. 15:4; Rev. 4:8). Do you still imagine holy trinity – there are no holy-three but there is the only holy one (see Job 6:10).

If we stand for the truth

let us root out, pull down, destroy and throw down unbiblical religious teachings and terms. Then Let build and plant the truth of the Bible in mind of the believer. Be courageous! Stand for the Truth! Here is the word of God, in Jeremiah 1:9,10. You are called by God:- To root out and to pull down, to destroy and to throw down, to build and to plant

By the way, what is the Name of the Only True and living God of the Universe? (Jer. 10:10) Yes, He is the true God; He is the living God, but what is His name?
